Halar ECTFE combines a good pressure resistance with an exceptional chemical resistance. In addition, Halar has outstanding impact resistance (no break in notched Charpy test).

• excellent tensile properties, a high creep resistance and no sensitivity to scratches
• continuous usage temperature of up to 150°C
• UV and sun light resistance

• no water up-take
• very smooth surface leading to low biofilm adhesion
• high purity resin leading to extremely low ionic and TOC leachout and thus used in industries such as medical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor
• Good barrier properties
